Eye Candy - Quilts

Our house seems really cold today even though the thermostat reads 73. I wonder if it has something to do with the cold northern wind that has been blowing today. Cold weather always seems to put me in the mood to make quilts. My mom gave me an Electric Quilts computer program two Christmases ago. It is so much fun to play with! I get to design quilts to my heart's content. Sometimes I sew them too. Sometimes, though, I just like to look at other peoples creations. So here are the "eye candy" quilt pieces I've found recently. If you click on each picture it will take you to the blog or etsy shop where it is featured.

Wow... Those are beautiful!. Quilting is another one of those things I wish I could do. I have tried just a simple one and it didn't turn out nearly as well as I imagined it in my head. I haven't tried another yet but I keep thinking about it.
You certainly have a talent

I could really go for some snuggling quilt time right now. I wish I could quilt, I have great ideas but no way to put them together.

Those are all beautiful! I was going to pick a favorite, but that required too much work. Some day I would love to learn to quilt.

My favorite is the little orange chicken. Applique is my first love. I need to start a new applique project but I'm too busy knitting these days.
