Kudos

Blogging is a fun ride for me. I originally started a blog for our family and friends to keep up with all of our happening after we moved. It's a more personal blog with all our names out there for everyone to see. As I trekked deeper into the blogging world I found there were carnivals, memes, and other enjoyable diversions I wanted to do but didn't want 'strangers' coming to see all about my family. I was worried about my children's safety. So I decided to start this blog for me. It is my creative outlet. I still get to blog about my family life but with more anonymity.

One of the merrier perks about blogging is the awards that get passed around. It's nice to know you are noticed and someone actually likes your blog! Here are some awards that have cheered me up recently:

Back on February 9, Ritsumei awarded me the You Make My Day award. So sweet! There are a number of blogs that make my day. I'd like to pass the award on to Sarah Jane Studios, love her illustrations! They remind me of my own children. With Earnest Endeavour also makes my day with her posts about life with seven children, trying to keep a 'Dutch' home, and just being a good mom and wife.




On February 11, Cellista also "made my day" by rating my blog 'E' for excellent.

I think La Donna Mobile, Lola...again, and The McIllece Spot are all excellent blogs. They are crafty, have great ideas that I like to steal try, and are great fun to visit.








And just today I learned that Jennifer from Infinity More Monkeys thinks I have a funky blog. I'm passing this one on to Raven's*Nest.
