I was tagged by my Andrea, so apparently you get to hear a little bit more about me. Here are the rules:
1.Link to the person that tagged you. (See above.)
2.Post the rules on your blog.
3.Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.
4.Tag at least three people at the end of your post and link to their blogs.
5.Let each person know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
6.Let the fun begin!
1. I am afraid of heights. Really, the highest thing I am comfortable on is a horse. When I was eight months pregnant with Cookie my husband bet he could beat me in the card game Blink. He never wins so I figured I'd do it. If he won I'd have to go up with him in our bucket truck. If I won he'd have to cook dinner. He won by two cards. The dreaded time came to get in the bucket. It actually wasn't too bad except I told him we were over the 300lb limit due to my preggo state. Did that stop him? The view was actually pretty nice - as long as I didn't look down. But when it was time to go back down, we didn't. The Bucket was stuck at the top - the very top. My BIL finally had to come and charge the battery so we could descend safely.
2. Whenever we go out to eat at a restaurant I always order shrimp. I LOVE shrimp and can't ever seem to get enough.
3. On the surface my house looks like a discombobulated mess. Open a cupboard, any cupboard, or look in any closet though and you will find everything organized.
4. I play the piano to relax. Sometimes I'll play rousing ragtime tunes so I can pound away the stress. Other times I'll play easy new age (Enya) pieces to carry my frustrations away.
5. I sewed a huge Cal. King size quilt for our bed last summer. It turned out really nice. But now that we've redone our master bathroom I want to redo our bedroom so they blend better. Which means I have a yearning to create a new quilt in either a Whirligiggles or Shoo Fly design so the colors match better with our decor.
6. I have this habit that I inherited from my mother of tapping my thumbs on the steering wheel to the beat of the music we're listening to while driving. It used to drive me nuts when I'd see my mother do it. Now I drive my kids insane.
I tag Craig, Nicole, and Allison.

Love the thumb tapping. I bop my head. No idea if my kids don't like this or not...but I can't stop anyway. Shrimp = okay. Scallops, though...mmm...all the time!
I vote for the whirligiggles. I like the way it is wonky and precise at the same time. It looks like fun, and forgiving because you have fewer exact seams to match up. I really need to pick my next project. I think I am going to do a disappearing 9 patch. I have been really enjoying the quilt month at sew, mama, sew. I have so many new ideas bookmarked!
