For the next several days I will be posting about the World Congress of Families. This year it is being held in Sydney, Australia.  Remember how we helped to raise funds for Angela to attend? She is sending daily reports of the presentations, interviews she is able to have, and more. I am excited to share with you what she is experiencing. There are so many around the world - politicians, religious leaders, community organizers, trained professionals, and others - who are dedicated to defending the family. I will try to post each day's events in order so you are not reading them backwards as you scroll down. I have broken up Angela's summaries into several posts so it isn't overwhelming to see a HUGE post. Remember, if you have any questions you would like her to ask when she gives her interviews, leave them in the comments and I will pass them along to her.

Printable Valentine Cards and Notes

Need fast, easy Valentine cards for your child to take to school? Forget the Spiderman, Dora, Hannah Montana, and SpongeBob card kits from the store. Try these cute cards instead. Click on each picture to download the pdf file for that particular sheet of Valentine's cards.

This pirate one is my personal favorite. I realized too late that I probably should have written "Be me matey" instead of "Be my matey." Oh well, it's still cute.

A nod to my agriculture lifestyle. The graphics for these are from old 19th century magazines.
I am normally not a dog person but I just loved this old bulldog graphic and HAD to use it somehow.

Does anybody recognize these dinosaurs? The free graphics come from old Golden Books and are sponsered on this site.

Still aren't satisfied? How about downloading some vintage Valentine's graphics from valart2008's flickr set. Here's just a few to whet your appetite. These won't open a pdf file, you'll have to visit the flickr set to download the graphics.

The last two printable pages are for you as a parent or spouse. They are business sized love notes perfect for slipping into lunch boxes, a pocket or wallet, between the pages of a book, on someone's pillow, or even someone's secret stash of chocolate candy.

This one is geared more towards giving to a child.

Obviously, this is geared for you to give to the love of your life. I even had to throw in some Spanish ones* because as they say "Spanish is the language of love!"

ENJOY!!

* for those whose Spanish skills are somewhat lacking the translations are:

mi amor - my love

besame mucho - kiss me a lot (watch Andrea Bocelli sing it!)

  9. Thanks for the cute kid valentines. It saved a trip to the store for a box of overpriced valentines for preschool AND the dinosaurs are just right for a little boy who isn't in to lovey stuff.

Put "eat chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you'll get one thing done. ☺ There, don't you feel better?

Please leave a comment! I enjoy hearing your thoughts, whether you agree with me or not. If we all agreed on everything how boring would that be? Worse than eating white chocolate, because it's fake. So be real, be yourself.
