For the next several days I will be posting about the World Congress of Families. This year it is being held in Sydney, Australia.  Remember how we helped to raise funds for Angela to attend? She is sending daily reports of the presentations, interviews she is able to have, and more. I am excited to share with you what she is experiencing. There are so many around the world - politicians, religious leaders, community organizers, trained professionals, and others - who are dedicated to defending the family. I will try to post each day's events in order so you are not reading them backwards as you scroll down. I have broken up Angela's summaries into several posts so it isn't overwhelming to see a HUGE post. Remember, if you have any questions you would like her to ask when she gives her interviews, leave them in the comments and I will pass them along to her.

My Savior Loves Me

...All human beings—male and female—are created in the image of God. Each is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents, and, as such, each has a divine nature and destiny....

...In the premortal realm, spirit sons and daughters knew and worshipped God as their Eternal Father and accepted His plan by which His children could obtain a physical body and gain earthly experience to progress toward perfection and ultimately realize their divine destiny as heirs of eternal life...

One of my favorite children's song in the children's song book  is titled I Feel My Savior's Love - #74.  I listen to this song often as it truly reminds me of my divine heritage and the fact that I AM a daughter of my Heavenly Father.  On my blog I often "write" with pictures as I really do believe that pictures say what I feel better, so I will attempt to help you see what I feel when I hear this song.

I feel my Savior's love
In all the world around me.

His Spirit warms my soul
Through everything I see.

I feel my Savior's love;
Its gentleness enfolds me,

And when I kneel to pray,
My heart is filled with peace.

I feel my Savior's love
And know that he will bless me.

I offer him my heart;
My shepherd he will be.

I'll share my Savior's love
By serving others freely.
In serving I am blessed,
In giving I receive.

He knows I will follow him,
Give all my life to him.
I feel my Savior's love,
The love he freely gives me.

Now, some of these photos I included are photos that make me feel the love of our Heavenly Father and our Savior.  They see us, they are aware of us, they have created all for us to enjoy.

I know that my Savior loves me.

I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father.  I have a big brother who died on the cross for me.  He loves me.  He wants us all to return to live with him again.

Our Heavenly Father wanted us to have a family.  I am so blessed to be a mother and a wife to 4 of the most amazing males on this earth.  My boys bring me joy and my husband is my best friend and helpmate in all I do.

Thank you to Cocoa for including me in this celebration.  I am so blessed in my life and am thankful I can share with all of you.

  5. and just as you know HF loves you, look at how He loves the earth and all things he created. He loves us enough to share His splendors and you are wise to extend that love to His creations and then on to this blog. Thank you so much.

  21. Primary songs are some of the most beautiful poetry ever! I especially enjoyed it because "I Feel My Savior's Love" is my love is my eldest daughter's favorite song. I think I may have to put some of the songs to family pictures as well.

  22. Primary Songs are the best. They remove all the fluff and get right down to the basics. It is the sweetest thing to hear your own kids sing about the Savior.

Put "eat chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you'll get one thing done. ☺ There, don't you feel better?

Please leave a comment! I enjoy hearing your thoughts, whether you agree with me or not. If we all agreed on everything how boring would that be? Worse than eating white chocolate, because it's fake. So be real, be yourself.
